A chemical peel is a controlled trauma to the skin that can alleviate conditions, such as acne, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, signs of aging, photo-aging and overall imbalance of the skin. Our team will choose the correct formulation from a variety of peeling agents, such as lactic, salicylic, mandelic, Jessner and other ingredients. A peel will slough off the dead skin cells, in turn activating the dermis, which will create new, healthy cells. There are various depths and intensities of treatments- your aesthetician will work with you to determine the best plan for your skin.
These treatments are recommended in series for optimal results and are personalized to best address your conditions while considering your goals and lifestyle. All peel treatments require proper pre- and post-treatment home care and sun protection that your aesthetician will address at the time of your appointment.
